People love to attribute that "The Media" as the mastermind brainwasher that pulls the strings behind modern culture. This conference runs with that, and rallies and celebrates all of the entertainment media designers "behind the curtain".
Spectra, a.k.a. the plural or combined might of all spectrums. A fitting name for a conference that calls upon the bright and wide breadth of designers to rally together and witness our every growing hold upon the eyes of the world.

Identity
The SPECTRA brand language is built off an ensemble of neon-noir lights cast against darkness, to fully highlight the path that design leads. There's an edge of modern mysticism in it all.

Logo
The SPECTRA logo marries both of these ideas as it itself is the prism that reveals the spectrum of light, and thus the source of the conferences power.

The conference is the heralding of designers, makers and see-ers of the secret world that lies right in front of our eyes, to rally together. Driven together by the unknown powers that we know exist within the realms of graphic design.
